Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Ameer Group UK collects when you use this website — including our contact form and AI energy assistant — why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Who is responsible for your data
Our registered company details (legal name, company number and registered office) have not been published on this page yet. For our current data-controller identity, email [email protected].
Information we collect
- Enquiries: if you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name and message, together with your IP address and browser information (used only to prevent spam submissions).
- AI assistant conversations: the messages you send our energy assistant, and, if you choose to attach one, a copy of your energy bill and any account, meter or usage details visible on it.
- Cookies: optional analytics and advertising cookies, set only once you consent — see “Cookies” below.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and provide energy comparisons or quotes.
- To generate a reply from the AI assistant, including sending your message and any bill you attach to the third-party AI providers listed below so they can produce that reply.
- To keep a short record of your conversation so the assistant can refer back to earlier messages in the same session.
- To help prevent abuse of our contact form and assistant, for example by limiting how many submissions can come from the same IP address in a short period.
Who we share it with
- Cloudinary — hosts images you upload, such as photos of your energy bill.
- Groq and OpenRouter — the AI providers that generate the assistant’s replies; whichever provider answers your request receives your message and any attached bill image.
- Brevo — used to email our team about contact-form submissions and, only where you have provided your details through that form, to manage our mailing list.
We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We have not yet published a specific retention period for each category above. Until this section is updated, email [email protected] at any time to ask what we hold about you or to request deletion.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or provide it to you in a portable format. Contact us at [email protected] to exercise any of these rights.
Cookies
We only set optional analytics or advertising cookies after you consent. You can review or change your choice at any time.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, contact us first at [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the UK’s supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office.
